Sorry I haven't posted any updates during the summer, but it was what summer
should be - going to the pool and taking a trip to Disney World in Florida.
Since Eddie and Gwen have birthdays in August - Gwen is the beginning of the
month and Eddie is the end - we decided to spent a few days at Disney in
Orlando and visit Annie's uncle Ziggy in Tampa.
We came away from Disney with an important new word for Eddie - monorail.
He was absolutely captivated by the sleek trains. He pointed to the track and
said "aaa". I told him it was the monorail track just as a train rode by. After
it passed, he said perfectly clear - mono rail.
The problem with Disney is that if you stay for than a few days, the magic starts
to flake off. After five days of walking around theme parks, we were actually
glad to go home. Even spending a few days with Uncle Ziggy in the middle
of the trip didn't help our aching feet.
