One thing I forgot to mention in the previous post was that we got a dog on July 7th.
He is part German Sheperd, part Terrier - we got him from North Shore Animal
League. His name is Monty and he was 10 months old when we got him. He had
just been released for adoption that day following his neutring so he was very
docile. It turned out that he also had a parasite which we didn't know about.
It has been like having a third child. He is finally settling in after four months,
three visits to the vet, six weeks of training, and a wireless collar.
He thought Eddie was another puppy and would tackle him whenever I was out
of the room. Thanks to the wireless collar, Monty now thinks the boy is electicified!
Gwen will yell "No Monty" and I zap him from another room.
Only Annie or I handle the remote and we keep it set to the lowest setting.
Like garlic - for best results, you should use it sparingly.
